First I get word of Sigur Ros coming out with a new album, and now I hear about Mogwai’s newest LP, “The Hawk Is Howling,” due out September 22 in the UK and September 23 in the U.S. on Matador. But check this: psychedelic rock legend Roky Erickson will grace Mogwai with his memorable vocals. With their EP dropping September 8, Erickson will be featured in “Devil Rides”, the final track on the “Batcat EP.” Oh how I can’t wait to get my grimy hands on it and once I do, you best believe I’ll stream it on here for your listening enjoyment.
