The Dead Weather are coming in hot with some tunes for your ears. Listen to their new single, “Die By The Drop” below and let us know what you think! Personally, I don’t think it’s anything addictive or fresh. I really dig The Dead Weather and was stoked on “Horehound” but hope the rest of the songs on their forthcoming album “Sea of Cowards” has a bit more bite than this single. It reminds me too much of Horehound and I find myself continuously singing “Hang You From The Heavens” after listening to it.

I will say however, the trailer for the Floria Sigismondi-directed video for “Die By The Drop” looks pretty dam fuckin’ cool. Very dark and morbid like a scene out of an old vampire flick! Very scary! The entire video will be premiered on iTunes April 6, 2010.
