Indie rockers, Minus the Bear left their gloomy Seattle digs to play a bangin’ set at the Mayan Theater in sunny Los Angeles last Thursday, May 20th. In support of their new album “OMNI” off LA’s very own Dangerbird Records, the quintet played up all those delicious ambient-electro-bubbles of sound they are known for over front man, Jake Snider’s smooth sailing vocals. With songs both old and new, the band played an impressive set full of buzzing bass lines and echoing trinkets of keys and guitar. Boasting just about 90 minutes of sonic grooves including three encores, Minus the Bear gave fans a serious Colgate smile all the way home.
