There’s a lot of fascinating women in music these days just shredding the stages with their sonic craftsmanship and stage appeal. One such group of ladies leading the indie pop masses are LA’s very own, the Like. Have you listened to these chicks, let alone seen them on stage at a live show? Believe me, your eyes and ears will be mesmerized by their classic pop noir beauty and their familiar 60s pop sounds.

Although it’s easy to say these girls started off as your token LA teens raised in the music scene with their parents paving their way through their ties to major labels and famed bands, The Like aren’t your typical Kelly Ozbourne riding off the hooves of Daddy’s fame. These girls have some delectable talent with their sweet candy-like vocals and musical arrangements that take you back to the girl groups of yesteryear where foxy ladies like the Shangri-las and the Chiffons were leading the 60s girl group and beat band era.

The Like know how to put on an epic show where they engage the crowd not only with their lush sound but with their adorable fashion and pretty faces. Just take a look at the photos below, the girls are total cuties! And they can get even the most stubborn of men, cursed with two left feet, dancing to their vivacious tunes.

The Like just released their second full-length album titled “Release Me” on June 15, 2010 via Downtown Records.
