Coming to you this Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30, 2011 is the 13th Annual Punk Rock Bowling Music Festival. This year’s line-up will feature some of the best punk bands, many of which graced my cassette tape collection back in high school. As one of the headliners this year and probably the biggest draw, are the Descendents! Original front-man, Milo Aukerman, is back and ready to play some old goodies (I’m crossing my fingers for “Hope” and “I’m Not a Loser”). This year’s bill will also feature: Cock Sparrer, Dropkick Murphys, Bouncing Souls, Stiff Little Fingers, Undertones, The Dwarves, Aggrolites, Me First and the Gimme Gimme’s and more.
All shows will take place in Downtown Las Vegas at 6th and Fremont St. East. The festival is outdoors and all ages.Tickets will go on sale for the Punk Rock Bowling Music Festival today, Monday, February 21 at 1 p.m. Single day passes can be purchased at $35 or a three-day pass can be purchased at $90.
