Those Darlins are headlining the Satellite on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Aside from being total cuties, these wild ladies (and gent) will charm you with their raw country-garage rock. With honest and comical lyrics about eating a whole chicken while drunk or songs that warn potential suitors of their “wild” tendencies, Those Darlins are always a damn good time!
The band is touring in support of their very kick-ass new album, Screws Get Loose. If you have yet to listen to this spunky gem, you need to cop that shit now! This latest collection of songs finds Those Darlins trading in a bit of their country twang for a more garage pop sound. It’s an edgy bouquet of all things cool. The band has managed to stay true to their real and raw tone while fusing a well crafted range of sounds with lyrics that remain honest with bold narratives. It’s definitely one of our favorite releases of 2011.
