This is going to be one BEAUTIFUL show! Not only has Bon Iver booked a show at the Shrine Auditorium on Monday, September 19, 2011, but he also has Other Lives as his supporting act. This is going to be a stellar performance on so many levels. Bon Iver is touring in support of his impressive self-titled new album, the follow up to his astounding For Emma, Forever Ago — which is not an easy feat to match up to, but the man has managed to make it happen.

Other Lives are the next hottest indie folk act that you probably haven’t heard about. We caught them not too long ago at the Satellite and then saw them perform at Sasquatch! with Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips standing right next to us! The Oklahoma natives have not only grabbed the attention of Coyne and numerous other respected musicians, but they have a large fan base quickly growing that have taken notice of the band since the release of their new album, Tamer Animals.

Tickets to Bon Iver with Other Lives at the Shrine Auditorium are supposed to go on sale this Friday, June 24 via Ticketmaster (not sure of the set time yet). There is no confirmed presale as of yet, but be sure to check back with us or on our Twitter and Facebook for further Bon Iver updates.

Bon Iver and Other Lives will also be performing in San Diego at the Spreckles Theatre on Friday, September 16 and at the Greek Theatre in Berkely on Thursday, September 22. All ticket will be sold via Ticketmaster. You can get more Bon Iver tour date and ticket info here.
