From the moment we heard the Damn Sons five-song self-titled EP we were instantly hooked to their edgy and grimy alt country rhythms. Not to mention, front-man Travis Schneider has a badass vocal swagger. We dug these dudes so much that we asked them to play one of our showcases last year at Spaceland (now Satellite).
Since we last hooked up with the Damn Sons, they’ve been playing a variety of local shows and cutting some impressive new tracks. They recently did the “Jam In The Van” video Web series which is a very rad D.I.Y recording session sans the fancy recording studio. Kudos to the Jam In The Van heads for coming up with such a rad concept. Yet again, the Damn Sons have grabbed our attention with their new songs and videos. If you’re not hip to these boys yet, get to know them now.
