Ivan & Alyosha are an interesting musical act. Their band’s name is taken from a scene in Dostoevsky’s Brothers Karamazov where the main characters Ivan and Alyosha discuss the existence of God. Ivan, in particular, questions the idea of God. Alyosha, on the other hand, is a monk, a believer, some may say, a holy fool. As a band, Ivan & Alyosha create indie rock that is filled with godly prowess with its majestic harmonies and more. They’re playing at the Echo on Wed. August 15, 2012, with Coby Brown and The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers warming up the crowd for them.

Tickets to the show are $12-15, show starts at 8:30 p.m. and this show is 18+.  Enter the contest below for a chance to win a pair of tickets!
