DJ and dubstep record producer, Rusko, plays at Club Nokia on Thursday September 20. A Leeds College of Music graduate, Rusko steers clear from the darker side of dubstep by producing a more upbeat, energetic, and fun approach to the genre. He’s converted many outside the dubstep community by reshaping how traditional dubstep sounds. His mixes have been played by other big artists like M.I.A and Santigold and has been remixed by Buraka Som Sistema. Another innovative DJ playing with Rusko is TOKiMONSTA who is the first female to join Flying Lotus’ crew/label BRAINFEEDER. Her music is a musical landscape through the use of live instruments, digital manipulation, and dusty noise. Come to Club Nokia for a night of eclectic electronic music and great DJs. Joining Rusko are GLAdiator, Something Scandalous (UCLA), DJ Tony Fresch (USC), and Mature Content (UC Riverside).

Tickets to the show are $27.50-$60, doors open at 8:00pm, and is 18 and over. Enter the contest below for a chance to win a pair of tickets.
