Tegan and Sara at 987FM Hollywood Tower Penthouse – Photos Review

Last night,  Tegan and Sara performed a private show at the 987FM Hollywood Tower penthouse. I don’t think we’ve ever seen so many professional cameras at a 987FM penthouse show. They were everywhere! It was clear that fans and media were more than excited to witness the return of Tegan and Sara in such an intimate setting. To top the evening all off, it was an “ugly holiday sweater” party and both Tegan and Sara joined the dorky fun with some pretty cheesy sweaters of their own.

Tegan and Sara played five songs that included some of their most memorable songs about heartbreak, sexuality and youth. Each song struck a warm chord in our hearts: “”Back In Your Head,” “Alligator,” “Where Does The Good Go,” Walking With A Ghost,” “Nineteen” and their new single “Closer,” off their upcoming full-length release, Heartthrob — out Jan. 29, 2013.

Tegan and Sara were incredible. Their beautiful, innocent voices projected so much spirit as though it were 2004 and they were showcasing, So Jealous. The lovely, sassy and pottie-mouthed gals have a sold-out Club Nokia date on Feb. 1, but don’t be sad if you didn’t get tickets. The girls hinted to peforming a lot of L.A. shows and it looks like they’re going to be small standing-room venues (not theaters) — just how we like it. Stay tuned for some surprises.
