Jake Bugg headlined the Troubadour this past Wednesday with support from Valerie June. Almost 19, the English singer songwriter swooned an intimate, but full house at the Troubadour. With his work influenced by Donovan, Johnny Cash, The Everly Brothers, Oasis and more—Bugg’s self-titled debut album, released in Oct. of 2012 created quite the musical buzz in the UK and some of the U.S. Bugg’s show last night at the Troubadour was his Los Angeles debut and although he’s still a best kept secret to most Angelinos, he won’t be for long. Music lovers are quickly picking up on the gem that is Jake Bugg.
