CHAPPO is set to play The Satellite on Friday, April 26. This fuzzy space rock band instantly hit gold with their self released Plastic Universe EP, Come Home, which ended up on an Apple iPod commercial. Following their release, they have gained Pitchfork approval, continued to independently release music, and maintained a reputation in the Brooklyn D.I.Y. scene. Now they are signed to Majordomo Records, toured with Of Montreal, and played major festivals. They’ve got the classic indie sound with hints of psych-swirls. Joining them is California’s finest musical dream, Francisco The Man and refined pop-Americana group, Wires in The Walls.
Tickets to the show are $10-$12, doors open at 8:30PM, and the event is 21 and over. You can win a pair of tickets with us by entering the contest below, courtesy of the Satellite and Grimy Goods.
