maps and atlases

Indie rock group, Maps & Atlases, headline The Echo on Thursday, May 2. Since their formation in 2004, Maps & Atlases have captured the indie imagination with post-rock ingenuity, elaborate melodies, and polyrhythmic beats. Maps & Atlases create a musical landscape. Their latest album Beware and Be Grateful is their most innovative album yet. it’s filled with guitar solos and fluid lyrics, creating an inviting brand of boundary-busting pop. They have stepped out of their comfort zone and innovated indie rock into something completely fresh. Joining them is Young Man, another innovative group that mixes folk, psych, prog, and baroque. It will be an interesting night, and we invite you to join us.
