I had the great pleasure of accompanying the fine members of Deap Vally, Jjuujjuu, and Mystic Braves on a six-day magical musical journey known as the Moon Block Tour. The tour ventured up-and-down the West Coast in a black van dubbed “Van Morrison.” We endlessly drove from Lobsterfest in San Pedro, to El Corazon in Seattle, Hawthorne Theatre in Portland and finally, the Glass House in Pomona. There was laughing, crying, green rooms, red rooms, Motel 6’s, a strip club that lived up to its name, fast food, dreamy landscapes, dreamier people, and AMAZING FUCKING MUSIC!!!!
