Bonobo1

Don’t try confusing Bonobo the DJ, with bonobo the dwarf chimpanzee known for its high rate of sexual activity. Two totally different Bonbos! The British music producer and DJ gained recognition in 2010 with his fourth album, Black Sands. Bonobo create textures in his music using sounds such as maracas and popping balloons that later unravel into a sonic journey. His collaboration with Erykah Badu on his latest album titled The North Borders, in the song “Heaven For the Sinner” creates a track that sonically wants to flow throughout with its heavy beats but contradicts with Badu’s seducing voice. Also starring in one of his tracks is Grey Reverend who will be joining Bonobo at the Wiltern on Monday, October 28. Get ready for a night of hypnotizing music!

Tickets to the show are $34, doors open at 8 pm, and the event is all ages. You can purchase your tickets here or try winning a pair of tickets by entering the contest below, courtesy of Live Nation and Grimy Goods. TICKETS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE!
