So who’s the woman sporting the Johnny Ramone haircut you may ask? Marissa Paternoster, from the New Jersey punk band Screaming Females. What began as a high school band has evolved into eight years of pure rock and roll. Four albums have been released with their latest titled Ugly. The band has toured among bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Dinosaur Jr, and Garbage. Check them out as they headline a show at the Echoplex on Thursday, November 21. Supporting the band will be Upset.
Tickets are $12 – $14, doors open at 8:30 PM, and the event is 18 and over. You can win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below, courtesy of the Echo and Grimy Goods!
