The talented multi-instrumentalist Mikal Cronin, is known for his association with Okie Dokie, the Moonhearts, and most notably as the bassist for Ty Segall. Like Segall, Cronin is an advocate for garage rock revivalism emphasized by his throaty vocals and shredding guitars. While playing with Segall, Cronin released his self-titled solo album in 2011, receiving positive reviews from critics. In compliance, his second album, MC II was received with open arms this year with singles “Weight” and “Shout It Out”. Sounds like something you’re interested in?
