For those out there who haven’t heard of the Los Angeles band, The Entrance Band, you’ve been missing out on a gem. The band resembles the seductive sounds of 1960’s bands such as Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, and The Doors. Hardly any vocals are heard by vocalist Guy Blakeslee, but that isn’t necessary when your ears are seduced by Derek James’ epic guitar solos and the paced Paz Lenchantin on drums as heard on the track “Summertime”. So if you have nothing to do on New Years Eve or if you just want to listen to some true psychedelic sounds join the band at The Satellite on Tuesday, December 31. This band will not only soothe your ears, but the gentle droning sounds of the music they create will help soothe your soul.
