With his Wii Remote and Sega Genesis controller, Robert DeLong is claimed the “8-bit warrior” by CMJ Magazine for creating danceable beats. DeLong began in 2010, where he uses MIDI interfaces, a drum set, drum pads, keyboards, laptops, and game controllers to loop and fuse electronic music with rock ‘n’ roll hits. His attention has been caught since he moved to Los Angeles, and he’s here to perform at the El Rey on Friday, January 31. Supporting him is Mystery Skulls.

Tickets are $20, doors open at 8pm, and the event is all ages. You can win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below.
