For Seth Haley’s Com Truise, it’s not about the name, it’s about the music. The Echoplex was proof of that on this sold-out show bringing bringing out hordes of fans that just can’t get enough of Com Truise’s smooth synth-electro-funk wave. Reaching massive peaks of sound throughout his mesmerizing set, the crowd would get an overwhelming feeling of slow-motion goodness as an intense effect from Com Truise’s music. It was not only Com Truise’s tour appearance in Los Angeles, but it was also his birthday making the performance an extra special event (Happy Birthday, Seth!). We loved seeing him all dapper and all-smiles in suit.
We got to catch Reva Devito and her Portland electro soul, as well as Phantoms winding up the crowd to get them hungry for the main dish. It was an excellent show with an excellent vibe.
