Brooklyn based indie band, The Antlers have shared their entire new album, Familiars for fans to stream one week before its June 17 release date via Transgressive Records. While The Antlers’ 2011 studio album release, Burst Apart was an endearing follow up to their stunning Hospice (2009), this new album just might be taking the throne as The Antlers’ best album yet. While Hospice was a gorgeous listen full of melancholy rooted from the death of a dear friend, Familiars shows that there’s light at the end of every tunnel no matter how painful. With nine tracks full of lush indie ballads spanning the five to nine minute mark, Familiars,  is meant for everyday listening for any mood. While it’s still an emotive work, the songs are far more approachable.
