The two piece electronic group, Fuck Buttons, will be headlining a show at the El Rey Theatre on Thursday, June 26th. Formed in Bristol in 2004 by art students Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power, the duo began by composing a soundtrack for a film he was working on. Their interest in creating drone/experimental/electronic music emerged after that and began using children’s toys such as the Fisher-Price karaoke machine. Last year, the band released their third album titled, Slow Focus. Check out their song, “Brainfreeze” from the album down below! Supporting Fuck Buttons will be Total Life.
Tickets start at $20, doors open at 9pm, and the event is all ages. You can purchase tickets or win a pair of tickets by entering the contest below!
