Death From Above 1979 have announced a very special performance at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on Thursday, August 14. The show will serve as a warm-up for the band’s extensive European and U.S. headlining tour dates (more tour dates below). DFA 1979 are touring in celebration of their highly anticipated new album, The Physical World, which is set for release on Sept. 9 via Last Gang Records/Warner Bros. Records. This is the band’s first full-length record in 10 years since the release of You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine. The return of Death From Above 1979 is going to be an epic comeback you won’t want to miss out on. We last caught the explosive duo at SXSW (where a riot started) and FYF 2011. The band followed their 2011 FYF performance with a one-off show at the Fonda.
Tickets to Death From Above 1979 at The Troubadour on Aug. 14 are priced at $25 and the show is all-ages. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 1 at 12 p.m.
