During the 90’s the Illinois band, American Football prevailed for three years before calling it quits. However, the time they had from 1997-2000, the band released both a self-titled EP in 1998 and a debut album in 1999. After a 14-year hiatus, Mike Kinsella (vocals), Steve Lamos (drums), and Steve Holmes (guitars), have reunited to embark on a tour in support of a new album, American Football (Deluxe Edition). The album features 9 original tracks from their debut album, along with 10 additional live recordings and unheard demos. Reunite with the band at the Fonda Theatre on Sunday, December 14th! Supporting act is singer-songwriter, David Bazon.
Tickets to American Football start at $25, doors open at 8:00 pm, and the event is all ages. You can purchase tickets or try and win a pair of tickets with us by entering the contest below!
