Kitten band

Los Angeles band, Kitten have shared a wild new song titled “Big Dope Baby,” and to our pleasant surprise, the song is a full on punk song! Justin L. Raisen and Jerry James collaborated with Kitten on the new track. Known for their catchy electro pop, Kitten has all the elements of a punk song for “Big Dope Baby”: it’s hard, fast, loud, and clocks in under two minutes. Once again, this bright young band proves that they are as versatile as any seasoned band. Filled with raw yells and howls, screeching guitars and bubbling distortion, the new single is a serious punk-punch to the gut, and we love it.

Lyrics such as “give me my cocaine, give me my drugs, united spender, I’m going under” show us a new side to Kitten that we didn’t quite expect from these darlings. Actually, we did expect this, I mean c’mon, did you watch our Grimy TV interview with the band? Don’t let those young sweet faces fool you, Kitten has wild side.

Kitten has two upcoming shows in Los Angeles at The Troubadour on April 3rd and April 4th. Both shows are featured on our 45 Best Concerts This April feature. We highly recommend you grab tickets to the show!
