Always thinking out of the box and pushing limits, after six years, Peaches is back with a new album. The sexually-charged electronic artist has shared a new song titled “Light in Places,” which was written for and stars UK performance artist/aerialist Empress Stah, and her pioneering laser butt plug show. The new song comes from Peaches’ forthcoming album, Rub which features Kim Gordon and Feist.

Accompanied by a video, “Light in Places” is a provacative track with sexy pulsating rhythms that will have every exotic dancer wanting to make this song their next debut. Continuing of her fierce and sexually progressive path, Rub is said to be Peaches’ most “adventurous, audacious musical statement yet.” The album was recorded over the course of 2014 in Peaches Los Angeles garage studio collaborating with her longtime friend Vice Cooler. In a press release Peaches shares: “After six years, I was excited about my lyrics again, about what Peaches was,” she explains. “I felt more comfortable living out any idea I wanted to try. We spent ten hours a day making beats, and whatever stuck, I would write on and develop. The only agenda was to make the best album we could.”

“Light in Places”is all sorts of sexy and intoxicating. And as one YouTube commenter said, “Never thought I’d live to see a ‘laser butt plug’ credit, but now I can cross that off my bucket list.” You can watch the video below (laser butt plug and all).

Peaches new album Rub is set for release September 25 on I U She Music via INgrooves. You can preorder the album here. To celebrate the new record, Peaches has announced 2015 tour dates with a show in Los Angeles on November 13 at The Regent, and in Santa Ana at The Observatory on October 2nd.
