That’s right! You read correctly. Indie rockers Bloc Party will headline two Los Angeles show dates this August. You can catch Bloc Party at The Glass House in Pomona on Wednesday, August 19 or at The Roxy in West Hollywood on Thursday, August 20. Or you can make like a hardcore Bloc Party fan and catch them at both shows! Bloc Party will also perform at FYF Fest on Saturday, August 22. So if you’re not going to FYF, you best not sleep on catching one of their LA dates!
We’ haven’t seen Bloc Party perform live since we covered their show at the Hollywood Palladium in 2012. Bloc Party’s last release was in 2012 when they dropped their fourth records titled, Four. In September of 2014, frontman Kele Okereke stated that Bloc Party were working on a fifth album. Let’s hope for some new tunes real soon.
Tickets to Bloc Party at The Glass House are priced at $31 and tickets to their show at The Roxy are priced at $35. Both show dates are all-ages! Tickets to both show dates will go on sale this Friday, July 10 at 10am!
