Serving up a sensual dose of r&b funk vibes, Los Angeles’ Dam-Funk has shared a new video for “We Continue,” the lead single of his forthcoming new record, Invite the Light. Dam-Funk is a ‘70s baby, and his new video definitely has some 70s vibes through out. It’s a deliciously hazy video full of danceable rhythms and inspiring lyrics. If you follow Dam-Funk on Instagram (which we highly recommend), you already know he’s all about positivity and inspirational messages, “We Continue” definitely has an inspiring tone. You can watch the snazzy new video below.

Invite the Light, will be Dam-Funk’s first solo album in six years. The 20-track LP is set for release on September 4th via Stones Throw. You can preorder the digital album here or get it on vinyl here. To celebrate the new record, Dam-Funk will be throwing down some new tour dates. This Thursday, July 23, Dam-Funk plays with his live band at the Hammer Museum at UCLA in Los Angeles as part of KCRW’s Summer of Soul. Additionally, Dam-Funk has an LA date at the Teragram Ballroom on September 5. More tour dates below!
