What became a conversation about sneakers and rappers in a L.A. sneaker shop, turned into the initial starting point for the Compton rapper, Tyga. We can give credit to Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes (Tyga’s cousin) for bringing him on board, with the opportunity to perform the remix to Fall Out Boy’s “Arms Race” at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, next to McCoy and Lil Wayne. From here on out, Tyga has released a total of four albums, with his latest titled The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. In support of his album, Tyga is set to headline the Club Nokia on Friday, February 26th. Baller Alert, don’t miss out on this show!
