BAYSIDE VACANCY

New York alt rockers, Bayside are coming through Los Angeles with a headlining show date scheduled for September 7 at The Regent. The band are touring in support of their 7th studio album, Vacancy, set for release on September 19 via Hopeless Records. You can preorder the album here.

Vacancy follows Bayside’s 2014 release Cult, an album that reflected singer/guitarist’s Anthony Raneri’s move to Nashville, his recent marriage and impending fatherhood. With Bayside’s new album Vacancy, it picks up where Cult left off and tells a sad story of the end of his marriage and the feeling of being left alone, hence the vacant hotel album cover.

“The hotel on the album cover reflects the feelings I had while working on Vacancy,” explains Raneri. “Writing this album, I felt as if everything was uncertain, I could move back to New York, buy a house in Nashville… I just didn’t know what was going to come next. I felt very isolated and as if everything in my life was temporary at that moment.”

Bayside will be joined by The Menzingers and Sorority Noise on tour and at The Regent.

Tickets to Bayside at The Regent are priced at $22.50 – $26.50 and show is 18-and-over. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 29 at 9AM.

There is a presale happening now. You can access tickets via Bayside’s website.
