Los Angeles, brace yourselves. The extraordinary PJ Harvey is making a return to the stage. Performing in the U.S. for the first time in five years, Harvey has announced two U.S. dates. Harvey will headline the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 18. She will also head to New York for a date at Terminal 5 on August 16.
Accompanied by her nine-piece band, Harvey’s Los Angeles and New York concerts will be her only U.S. dates in support of her ninth album, The Hope Six Demolition Project. The album draws from Harvey’s observations made during journeys to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington, D.C. over a four-year period.
In addition to Harvey’s two U.S. dates, her and her band are also set to perform this summer at the following European festivals: Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Roskilde, and Rock Werchter.
Tickets to PJ Harvey at the Shrine Expo Hall are priced at $59-$60 and the show is all-ages. Tickets go on sale the general public this Friday, May 13 at 10AM.
