Los Angeles throwback sweetheart, Veronica Bianqui has released a luscious new single titled “Aah, Paris…” Inspired from her recent travels to London and Europe where Bianqui spend some time in Paris, the song drips deliciously with 60s French Yé-Yé Pop. As Bianqui playfully sings in broken French; “Je ne, ne parle pas français/Mais vais faire semblant aujourd’hui, (translation: “I don’t speak French, but I will make believe today),” she pulls you in with her sultry vocals as the sweet crescendo takes you for the keeping. Like crème brûlée, “Aah, Paris…”  is a most delectable treat.

Written & produced by Bianqui, co-produced by fellow bandmate Matt Adams (The Blank Tapes), and recorded by Mark Rains (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Summer Twins, Robert Francis), “Aah, Paris…” dazzles with the perky style of Gillian Hills’ “Zou Bisou Bisou” while keeping it fresh and modern with Bianqui’s take on throwback French pop.

Bianqui’s new single “Aah, Paris…” is available for a $1 purchase via her Bandcamp. You can take the single for a spin below.

In celebration of the new single, Veronica Bianqui will perform at The Hi Hat on Wednesday, June 8 with Children, Michael Rey & The Woebegones, Empty Palace, and DJs Velvet Palace.
