September 23 — Twin Shadow at Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever
We can’t think of too many other musicians who can do justice to Prince’s iconic Purple Rain album, like Twin Shadow can. Brace yourselves fans of the great purple one, and fans of Twin Shadow. Twin Shadow will perform Prince’s entire Purple Rain album at the The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Known for his soulful synth pop, Twin Shadow already holds many comparisons to Prince and has been known to play some of Prince’s music at his shows. Hip-hop duo Atmosphere aka producer Ant and lyricist/rapper Slug are celebrating the release of their seventh studio album Fishing Blues. In addition to guest appearances from DOOM, Aesop Rock, Kool Keith and The Grouch, the duo have also released a Fishing Blues web series to accompany the roll out of the album.
