Taste of South Lake

Coming to South Pasadena on Saturday, October 8th, don’t miss out on the Taste of South Lake! Recognized as Pasadena’s largest culinary celebration, The Taste of South Lake will not only feature a variety of culinary treats, but there will also be some stellar acts taking the stage. Best of all it’s FREE!

This year’s Taste of South Lake will feature performances from Atlas Genius, Chairlift, James Supercave, The Shelters and more! The event will open its doors at 11 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. On top of all the live performances, guests can enjoy tasty eats from over 25 South Lake Avenue restaurants, cooking demos, and of course, an adult beverage garden. Watch a band and have a cocktail, beer or wine in hand.

Taste of South Lake is a great way to take advantage of this warm and sunny weather we’ve been having. The free outdoor festival will kick off at the Music Stage Presented by Bai Brands with a performance by eight-piece, fusion musical collective The Nick Valentini Collective. Think experimental jazz. Following will be one of Grimy Goods’ favorite local psych pop acts, James Supercave. Up next will be Tom Petty-produced indie rockers The Shelters, the always amazing Chairlift, and the festival will close with a headlining performance by Australia’s Atlas Genius. And let’s not forget KCRW’s DJ Raul Campos who will be keeping the vibes high all day long spinning between sets.

Taste of South Lake will take place at 251 S. Lake Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101. The celebration will be outdoors and admission is FREE. Guests can also park for free at the Corporate Center Pasadena.
