Like many of us, you’re probably feeling some darkness. Last Tuesday’s election results were catastrophic; but it’s up to us to keep fighting the good fight for equal rights, love, our planet and more. Right now we need to be united and active more than ever. Take America’s choice for the president-elect as a wake-up call. It’s time to get more involved with how the United States of America is run. Many of us are upping the ante on what we’ve always done in the plight for a better nation, and a better world. Some of you are making a difference for the first time ever, whichever it is, keep on keeping on.

In light of recent events Ribbon, Heavy Duty, IAMSOUND, Saturday Service, and 1M 1W 1D have turned their “Holiday Party” into a “Benefit Show.” Cherry Glazerr and DA Stern will perform, along with DJ sets from Jim E. Stack and Donmoyer + special guests will be keeping the vibes high.

The benefit show will take place Sunday, November 20th from 3 to 7 PM at Monty Bar. A suggested donation of $20 will aid in supporting Planned Parenthood and the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council). In the words of the NRDC, “Help us gear up to defend our environment and climate from the Trump presidency.”
