Kikagaku Moyo
Kikagaku Moyo is a Japanese psychedelic band from Tokyo. They coin their sounds as feel good music and once you experience them, you understand why. On Monday night in Los Angeles, the Echoplex was filled with the curious and the lovers of these trippy sounds. Long hair, electric guitars, drums, tambourine and even a sitar were part of Kikagaku Moyo’s set up.
Their music has been presented in many forms. Cassettes, vinyl and digital are just a few of the releases that Kikagaku Moyo has shared during their history together (since 2012). However, Kikagaku Moyo’s captivating performance is something to be experienced. Their sound is hypnotizing and transcends from their stage presence to the audience.
