LA-sweethearts Echosmith has finally returned with a new song in the form of the upbeat pop bombast of “Goodbye,” a tune taken from their upcoming highly-anticipated sophomore album Inside A Dream. With a delicately plucked guitar melody opening up the track with lead-singer Sydney Sierota’s breathy vocals, the song soon drops into a percussion driven one that dazzles with tropical key rhythmics and deep bass. A rapid reinvention of the indie-pop the band debuted with back in 2013 as a quartet of siblings, the remaining trio of Sierota, Noah, and Graham had to reconcile the loss of older brother Jamie just last year who chose to leave in order to spend more time with his new family. Inside A Dream promises to be an acid-wash of synths, buoyant guitars, and a distinctively 80s stylization–and as always, entirely danceable.
