Just in time for Easter, Gram Rabbit brought their creepy bunnies, spaced out jams and eccentric beats to the Echoplex last Friday, April 2, 2010. Straight out of the rural and placid Joshua Tree, Gram Rabbit’s music is anything but “rural and placid.” The band puts on a captivating show both visually and sonically. Your eyes will be dazzled by the sexy siren-like vocals of front-woman Jesika von Rabbit, who will place you under her spell with a gaze of the eye. Switching it up from keys, guitar and bass, both Jesika and co-vocalist Todd Rutherford play the role of multi-instrumentalist.

Get freaky and get you’re dance on. Join the legion of “The Royal Order of Rabbits” (their fanbase is sometimes referred to as a self-styled “cult”) and get yourself to a Gram Rabbit show. It will be an experience you won’t forget.

Hmmm: I wonder if they’ve thought about doing a show with Nobunny? That would be weird.
