English buzzband, Delphic put on quite the impressionable performance this past Friday, June 18, 2010 at a sold-out show at the Echo. The place was packed with beautiful girls dressed to the nine’s to hear this vibrant foursome put on some magical dance pop. Not to mention many familiar faces were at the Echo to get a first look at Delphic. From label heads, photogs and bloggers, all the LA movers-and-shakers came to feel the glimmering buzz that is Delphic. A small few were lucky enough to catch a private performance of their show the prior night at the Dangerbird headquarters. It was pretty damn epic and all the positive “talk” surely aided in packing the house at the Echo.

Deplhic brings forth an almost euphoric state of mind through their lush electronic beats fused with a vibrant mix of textured guitars, hypnotizing drums and delicate keys. Popular songs such as “Counterpoint” and “Halcyon” got the crowd swaying to a joyous groove with smiles of admiration glued upon their faces. Just like Miike Snow, I’m sure these guys will headline a series of sold-out shows to come, not to mention take part in next year’s Coachella and all the other U.S. music festivals that rebound off of Coachella’s taste-making line-up.

Delphic is set to release their highly anticipated debut album “Acolyte” via Dangerbird Records (U.S.) on June 29, 2o10.
