Want to get your or your artist’s new music featured on Grimy Goods? The quickest and most effective way to do that is by submitting songs to our open submission playlist. From there, we select new music we love and place the new releases on our Best Songs of the Month playlist. The tracks we really REALLY dig, get editorial. About 75 percent of our editorials are sourced from our Best New Songs of the Month playlist.
What About Press Releases?
We love press releases, but first and foremost, we source the music we write about from our submission playlist. This process opens up more bandwidth for our crew to write beautiful editorials as opposed to sifting through 100s of pitches a day. This also empowers lesser-known artists who don’t have PR teams to get their music heard. If we like what we hear, we search our inboxes for pitches and press releases. We scour socials and streaming platforms for more info on artists when press kits have not been provided.

DO NOT select “Advertising / Sponsored Content” for anything other than paid advertising. People who abuse that email will be immediately flagged as “junk” and sent to the grimy dungeon.
If submitting music pitches (after submitting your music, of course), please provide the following:
- Press release, EPK, bio, and/or info about your new music
- Links to your music and/or video
- Always include your social media links
