The Red Bull EmSee – A Freestyle Battle of Sight & Sound went off last Thursday, June 9 at the Echoplex. Hosted by rapper Bun B with special performances by judges Kurupt, Chali 2na and MC Supernatural, the evening introduced eight Los Angeles emcees all battling for the spot of L.A. free-style king. After all was said and done, Bay Area lyricist Dirtbag Dan won the title as L.A. qualifier.
