Music is nothing more than spoken words over beats, and Saul Williams provides nothing but a true voice with his unique performances that blends poetry and hip-hop. Known for his leading role in the 1998 indie film, Slam—Saul Williams releases music because he doesn’t trust the music industry’s choice of what constitutes good music.

He’ll be sharing some of his talents with fans on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the El Rey Theatre with CX Kidtronik will be opening for Williams. Tickets to the show are $18.  Doors are at 8 p.m. and this show is all ages. Thanks to our friends at Goldenvoice we have some tickets to give away!
