Thief Presents put on a hell-of-a psychotropic party that had all the L.A. hip kids squawking about for days. Los Angeles psych rockers, Dead Meadow, Sleepy Sun and Dahga Bloom were on the bill for this artsy-acid-trippy summer celebration—their lush music was heightened by the insane visuals going on throughout the NOMAD artist compound. With drinks flowing a-plenty and organic food trucks on site, show-goers were delighted with the incredible musical and social experience of the mind, body and soul. By the end of the night, even the snootiest of hipsters were holding hands with them dirty barefoot hippies—dancing along to the beat of their own L.S.D. drum.
