It was a dream-pop, shoegaze, part-time-punk heaven this past Sunday at the Echoplex. Beach Fossils headlined the Echoplex once again with a warm welcome from the crowd. They have come a long way since their first EP and picked up many loyal fans along the way. Beach Fossils started their set right, literally jumping into the crowd, rattling them up, and smoothly transitioning them from song-to-song until the end. It was a fantastic musical ride through soundscapes and high energy. The show would be incomplete without the help from supporting bands Dead Leaf Echo and Half String, who kept the crowd mesmerized with their shoegaze vocals and music.
