Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls put on one lively rock show this past Monday at the Fonda Theatre! Even while harboring some gnarly back problems, Frank Turner was full of intoxicating stage energy — you couldn’t even notice he was in some pain. Although not wailing on his guitar, Frank had and extra guitar player to take over the back-bending shred movements. Regardless, Frank really got everyone riled up into a rock ‘n’ roll frenzy causing them to dance and sway non-stop. You can see that he was real stoked on the audience’s involvement. That’s something rare in Los Angeles since our crowds are usually known for being shitty when it comes to getting loose and showing your excitement for the performer. With all the show love going around, Frank dedicated “Polaroid Picture” to a little seven-year-old boy in the audience. Apparently it was his first show ever. Adorable … and to the parents of the little boy, way to mold those mind young with real rock ‘n’ roll! Awesome.

Supporting Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls were the Smith Street Band. We also got some photos of them! Check out our photo gallery below of Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls and the Smith Street Band!
