Los Angeles’ Cassorla definitely gets by with a little help from his amigos, and thankfully so because his new video for “Bona Fide” is all sorts of awesome. The video features Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza cruising Echo Park lake in a paddle boat as she jams out on a saxaphone while her long distance lover, performance artist Nick Cregor busts out some goofy white boy dances on the Staten Island Ferry. The “Bona Fide” single alone is a cheerful indie pop number that calls for some dancing, but the “Bona Fide” video makes the song even better. Watch Cassorla’s official video for “Bona Fide” below.

Cassorla’s forthcoming EP, Amigos, is one of the best collaborative efforts we’ve heard in a long time. Each song on the six-track EP is a fine crafted tune that will make you dance or swoon. The EP features the talented guitarist, singer/songwriter, Ben Cassorla and all his talented amigos: Eric Earley (Blitzen Trapper), Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Crash (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros), Krystle Warren, Henry Wolfe, and Elizaveta. Cassorla’s debut EP, Amigos hits the streets Feb. 4 and we highly recommend you grab them goods.
