This past Monday, James Supercave kicked off their free Monday night residency at The Echo and what a night it was. Starting the night off right was Los Angeles-based alt R&B band, Dead Times. This three-piece wowed the crowd with their amazing rendition of Donnie & Joe Emerson’s “Baby”. This is a band to keep an eye on as their set gets better and better each time they play.

Next up was local favorite, De Lux. The band had everybody dancing with their Talking Heads-influenced dance grooves and they did not disappoint.

Closing out the night was the band of the hour, James Supercave. The band FINALLY released some music and had cassettes available for the first time. Between the funky bass lines, the atmospheric vocals, and droning guitar rhythms, James Supercave stole the show and we look forward to the rest of their March residency. Be sure to catch them this March at the Echo! Click here for James Supercave residency line-ups.
