Music sure has a way to guide our mood and genres such as ska and reggae will definitely get you irie. Dub Club hosted a feel good groove convention opening both floors at The Echo and Echoplex for a night of rock steady and good ole reggae with bands to keep you going all night long.  The air was charged with sweet beats driven by percussion, guitars and bass that had the traditional 60’s-70’s feel with a touches of contemporary rock and cumbia. All the bands of the night had different flavors although we certainly enjoyed the pounding sounds of Pachamama Estela from East L.A., and the audience favorite, soulful ska with The DeliriansQuinto Sol’s latin reggae also had it going off with really hot and steamy cumbia while The Steady 45’s pumped out their traditional ska. It was certainly a heavy Dub Club night who’s future events promise to be on fiyah!
