Cloud Nothings and Metz took The Roxy by storm last night for an incredible sold-out performance. Unfortunately we just barely missed the opening act, The Wytches, who we heard put on an excellent set. Each band was a powerhouse of pure noisy rock ‘n’ roll. Being in the pit with a camera is never a good idea; especially when you just got your camera fixed. I however, am prone to doing just that. Although I wasn’t in the middle of the pit, I can safely say my thighs were continuously bashed up against the stage. As I type this review, I can feel the bruising starting to take place. But, you know something, if you truly love the music, a little bruising here-and-there doesn’t hurt. Needless to say, the music was exceptional. My ears are still ringing even with earplugs, and will probably continue to do so for the next few days.
